Performing Life International recognized by the United Nations as one of the most creative solutions for young people in 2019.
(From New York, USA, September 25, 2019)

We are proud to share the news that Performing Life International / Fundación EnseñARTE Bolivia (FEB / PLI) was recently recognized by the United Nations General Assembly in its “2019 Youth Solutions Report ” as one of the most creative programs in the report, which selected 50 organizations led by young people around the world as programs that meet the UN’s youth millennium development goals. PLI is the only organization in Bolivia that was chosen from among over 4,000 submissions. We hope you will join PLI/FEB to continue supporting the youth of Bolivia.

The “Youth Solutions Report 2019” (page 37) stated that:
“One of the most creative solutions of this year’s Report is provided by Fundación EnseñARTE Bolivia / Performing Life International (FEB / PLI), a social circus and music program in Cochabamba, Bolivia. FEB/PLl offers training in social circus and music to youth in high-risk and low-income communities where staff members help young people leave the streets, enroll in school and join the program. PLI classes are free and open to both boys and girls from 6 to 18 years old. PLI also provides a meal for participants after each class. By keeping young people away from the streets, this solution gives them training to get decent jobs in the future and escape the poverty trap.”

Performing Life International is a 501c3 non-profit organization based in the USA which operates the Fundación EnseñARTE program in Bolivia.
